Aug 18, 2016

Certification demonstrates the importance that cloudBuy places on good security

August 18th 2016: cloudBuy, the global provider of cloud-based B2B e-commerce solutions, has successfully been recertified for the UK Government’s Cyber Essentials Scheme. This certification demonstrates that cloudBuy has put in place strong defences against cyber-attacks.

The Cyber Essentials Scheme has been developed by the UK Government and industry. It provides a clear statement of the basic controls all organisations should implement to mitigate the risk from common internet based threats within the context of the Government’s 10 Steps to Cyber Security. It also shows customers, investors, insurers and other parties that an organisation has taken these essential cyber security precautions.

In addition to Cyber Essentials certification, cloudBuy also holds other security-related certifications including ISO27001, for Information Security Management, and PCI DSS Level 1 certification, which is the highest standard of security used by banks and credit card companies. This shows cloudBuy’s commitment to keep both internal and customer data safe.

Lyn Duncan, cloudBuy CEO, said: “We are delighted to have requalified for the Cyber Essentials Scheme. As a global cloud-based technology company, cyber security is very important to us. Our highest priorities are keeping our customer information safe and delivering reliable, secure and safe solutions to our clients. The Cyber Essentials Scheme helps us to do this and show our commitment to current and future customers.”
