The Role

We now have an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our Global Implementation team.  The successful candidate will be responsible for a portfolio of customer solution implementations.   He or she will work closely with Sales, Development and Support teams from first contact through to post-sales support, contributing to solution design, marketing, promotion, requirements analysis and development planning.


The Project Manager will be responsible for:

  • Delivering presentations, demonstrations and training to end-user, administrative and technical customers.
  • Liaising with customers and sales team at pre-sales stage to analyse requirements and recommend solutions.
  • Liaising with development team to specify and prioritise development and configuration requirements.
  • Developing detailed implementation project plans.
  • Managing and co-ordinating all stakeholders engaged in the projects.
  • Managing delivery of projects to meet customer business needs, budget and timescale.
  • Liaising with support team in handover process from implementation to BAU.
  • Communicating with and providing project updates to cloudBuy senior management and clients.

Skills, experience and education requirements

This role requires excellent team-working and customer-facing skills which candidates should have experience of using throughout the sales lifecycle from pre-sales negotiation to post-sales support.

Candidate must be flexible, adaptable and prepared to take on extra tasks, as the role is likely to expand with the growth of the company.

Candidates need to be self-starters, with initiative and discipline to work on their own as well as within a team.

They need to be willing to travel throughout the UK and abroad.

They must possess excellent written and verbal English skills, pay close attention to detail, and perform well under pressure.

Candidates must be educated to MBA level (or equivalent) and preferably hold certification or have experience of PRINCE 2 and/or DSDM.

They must have experience of managing technical implementation projects.
